You've Got This

Hi everyone!  It's that time of month to do your self breast exam and if you haven''t had a mammogram yet this year, now is great time to schedule one!  Thanks so much for hopping along with us, you should have arrived from Lori's blog, if not, you can start at the Casual Fridays blog or below is the blog list!  You don't want to miss a thing!   If you are on Facebook, we would love to have you join our group so you can join us next month, you can find the group HERE!
For my card I stamped the "kick cancer's butt" sentiment from my Calling All Sistahs set continually and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I stamped the "you've got this" on a little tag and cut out the Girl from my "Sistahs Fri Dies" 3 times for dimension.  I have some messy thread behind the the tag and added a few sequins to finish off the card.
Be sure to leave a comment as you hop along, 1 lucky winner will win the CASual Fridays release!!    Please leave a comment by Wednesday October 19th at 12:00 am EST for a chance to win.  Next on the hop is Lydia.

Autumn Birthday

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for this weeks The Paper Players challenge to make a Clean and Simple card with leaves.  I started out with Yupo and Butterscotch, Terra Cotta and Bottle Alcohol inks.  After blending them with Alcohol Blending Solution and letting it dry, I cut it out with dies.  The veins were heat embossed very carefully!  If you don't move quickly with your heat gun it will melt!  I tied a knot using twine and glued the leaves down.  I do like how they curve from heating.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Happy Holly Days

Hi everyone!  Today I have a card for hbrown aka Holly's Happy Holly Days Falliday Fest challenge on Splitcoast.  Holly wanted us to use holly and berries on our card.  I inlaid the Paper Smooches Merry Christmas sentiment with gold paper and laid the holly and berries on the m.  I thought it was kind of fun!
I hope you are able to join us for this super fun fest!
Thanks so much for stopping buy today!

may your joy be as countless as the golden grain

Hi everyone!  I'm really excited about my card for today!  The brand new Falliday Fest on Splitcoast starts today with 3 challenges!!  My card is for Lori aka stamp_momma's challenge.  She would like us to make a Thanksgiving card and include wheat.  I started by running Pumice Stone and Hickory Smoke distress inks along my ivory cardstock.  I embossed with my Tim Holtz embossing folder and then ran my white inkpad over that.  The wheat die is from Impression Obsession and I cut out with MFT brown paper bag cardstock.  I tied twine around and added silver messy thread behind.
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!
